About Clarice Dankers, MA
I have always had a passion for language, writing and international cultures. This has led me to become a college writing instructor, English as a second language (ESL) teacher, and marketing communications writer.
As a lifelong learner, I have constantly sought to understand how human beings can achieve their full potential. As a result, I am fascinated by the latest research on how the brain, heart, body and emotions work together to foster learning, healing and creativity.
After teaching ESL for eight years in places like Mexico City, Mexico; Kabul, Afghanistan (Peace Corps Volunteer); and Portland, Oregon, I started working for international corporations, where I wrote and edited marketing communications for eight years.
In 2002, I returned to college to earn an MA in Writing with an emphasis on Publishing from Portland State University. As a Graduate Assistant, I also taught undergraduate writing composition courses and consulted in the Writing Lab.
Following graduation in 2004, I started my own freelance writing, editing and coaching business. To grow my business, I also studied the mysteries of Web site design, html, and search engine optimization (SEO).
I now use all of these skills and knowledge to help my clients grow THEIR businesses!
